Hailing from England, now based in Cape Town, South Africa, I am a children’s book author, illustrator and picture book maker. When I am not wielding a pencil you’ll probably find me (almost) lost somewhere on a mountain trail. Nature is THE best tonic and also the source of a lot of my inspiration. I love to create stories and illustrations that provoke a sense of wonder, reflection and fun.

I thrive on visual and verbal storytelling and especially love collaborating with other authors and small businesses by breathing life into their stories with my illustrations. I am a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and serve as their Regional Advisor for South Africa.
